Analytical Chemistry Industrial Student Placement 2012/13

Scientists at Cellzome work within multidisciplinary teams of medicinal and analytical chemists, cell biologists, immunologists and pharmacologists to advance Cellzome's proprietary and partnered drug discovery programmes. We have a vacancy for an Analytical Chemistry student looking for a 12 month Industrial Placement, starting summer 2012. The placement will be lab-based and fully integrated into Cellzome s drug discovery projects.

The successful applicant will currently be studying for a degree in chemistry, or a related discipline, and will already have a thorough theoretical understanding of their subjects.

Placements are for 12 months only and are open to students who have an Industrial Training Placement year as part of their degree, or have taken a year out of their degree to do this with the support of their university.

Cellzome offers a competitive salary and 24 days holiday. Our site is located south of Cambridge on Chesterford Research Park, a modern science park with attractive facilities including a restaurant and a gym.

Interviews will take place in March / April 2012. You will be asked to visit our site so you can see our facilities, meet members of the department and discuss the placement in more detail.
